Another Year of Outstanding VCE Achievement at Sirius College
Sirius College is celebrating yet another year of academic excellence, with the 2025 VCE results reflecting the school’s strong culture of continuous improvement and dedication to student success.
Exceptional ATAR Results
Five outstanding students achieved ATARs above 99, placing them among the highest achievers in Victoria. This year’s Dux, Rania Aldanu, led the cohort with an extraordinary 99.85. She was closely followed by:
Dawood Razaq: 99.80
Yahya Ahmed: 99.70
Sarim Babar: 99.45
Saim Babar: 99.10
Their results proudly position Sirius College among the state’s top-performing schools.
In addition, 12 students attained ATARs above 95, while 41 students achieved scores above 90, an impressive reflection of both student effort and school-wide academic support.
Twin Brothers Achieve ATARs Above 99
In 2025 VCE, twin brothers Sarim and Saim Babar achieved outstanding ATARs of 99.45 and 99.10, respectively. Their exceptional results have made their parents proud and brought great honour to the Sirius College community.
Perfect Study Scores Across Multiple Subjects
Sirius College continues to uphold its strong academic reputation with students once again earning perfect study scores across a diverse range of subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Business Management, English, Further Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, Computing, and Turkish.
In 2025, this tradition continued with Dux Rania Aldanu achieving perfect study scores in English and Legal Studies. These accolades follow her perfect study score in Psychology in 2024 while she was still in Year 11, an exceptional achievement highlighting her consistent excellence.
One in Three Students Score Above 80
A significant milestone for Sirius College this year is that one in three students achieved an ATAR above 80. In total, 92 students reached this benchmark, demonstrating the strength of teaching, learning, and academic support across all campuses.

Sirius College’s dedication to continuous improvement shines brightly in the 2024 ATAR results.
One exceptional student achieved an ATAR exceeding 99, with the school’s DUX attaining an impressive ATAR of 99.70.
Furthermore, 13 students achieved ATARs above 95, while 39 students attained scores exceeding 90.
Perfect Scores in English, Psychology, and Mathematics
Sirius College continues its tradition of academic excellence, with students achieving perfect study scores in subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Business Management, English, Further Maths, Mathematical Methods, Computing, and Turkish.
In 2024, this legacy continues with four Sirius students achieving perfect study scores in English, General Mathematics, and Psychology.
One in Three Students Achieve an ATAR Above 80
A remarkable milestone for Sirius College sees one in three students achieving an ATAR exceeding 80. Overall, 86 students secured ATARs above 80, exemplifying the school’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence.
136 Study Scores Above 40
The academic brilliance of Sirius College students is further highlighted by an extraordinary 136 study scores exceeding 40. Impressively, 92 students achieved study scores above 40 in at least one of their subjects, showcasing their dedication and perseverance.
Celebrating another successful year in VCE
The dedication to continuous improvement at Sirius College shines through in the 2023 ATARs.
Four outstanding Sirius students have secured ATARs exceeding 99, with the school's dux, Tooba Irfan, achieving a remarkable ATAR of 99.90. Joining the ranks of high achievers, Zahra Alazam and Muhammad Arshad earned ATARs of 99.20, while Youser Al-Rubaiey achieved an impressive 99.05. These students have rightfully earned their place among the state's top high achievers.
Furthermore, 14 students achieved ATARs above 95, and 37 received scores exceeding 90.
Perfect Scores in English and Psychology
Sirius maintains its tradition of perfection, with students achieving flawless study scores in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Business Management, English, Further Maths, Mathematical Methods, Computing, and Turkish. In 2023, this legacy continues with two students, Tooba Irfan and Muhammad Arshad, securing perfect study scores in English, and Zahra Alazam achieving perfection in Psychology.
Every 1 in 3 students achieve 80+ ATAR
A remarkable achievement unfolds as every one in three Sirius students attains an ATAR exceeding 80. Overall, a commendable 79 students have clinched ATARs above 80, exemplifying the institution's commitment to academic excellence.

104 Study Scores Above 40
The brilliance of Sirius College students extends to their subject study scores, with an outstanding 104 scores exceeding 40. Reflecting their dedication, 70 students attained study scores above 40 in at least one of their subjects.
Ahmet Yamakoglu, Executive Principal of Sirius College, expressed immense pride in the VCE achievements. He acknowledged the hard work and dedication of both students and teachers, expressing confidence in their continued excellence in future endeavors.
Another outstanding year in VCE
Sirius College is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of its students in the 2022 VCE exams.
4 Sirius College students achieved an ATAR above 99, with the school dux, Hamdan Yousuf, achieving an ATAR of 99.65. Tasnim Thamer and Rayyanuddin Muneer both received ATARs of 99.25, and Faraz Nairooz achieved an ATAR of 99.00. The students placed themselves among the top high achievers of the state.
Every 1 in 3 students achieve 80+ ATAR
In addition, 10 Sirius College students achieved an ATAR above 95, and 28 students received an ATAR above 90. Overall, 65 Sirius College students achieved an ATAR above 80, meaning that every 1 in 3 students received an ATAR above this threshold.
Perfect study scores in English and Further Mathematics
Sirius has a history of students achieving perfect study scores in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Business Management, English, Further Maths, Mathematical Methods, Computing, and Turkish, and 2022 is no exception.
Two students achieved perfect study scores in Further Mathematics. Eesa Hussain and Taha Aftab both achieved a perfect study score in this subject, and Hamdan Yousuf achieved a perfect study score in English, although his parents speak English as a second language.
Sirius students continue to achieve exceptional results with 99+ ATAR Scores
For many years, Sirius College students have demonstrated a pattern of achieving 99+ ATAR. Hamdan Yousuf, Tasnim Thamer, Rayyanuddin Muneer and Faraz Nairooz sustained Sirius College’s 99+ ATAR achievement with ATARs of 99.65, 99.25 and 99.00 in 2022 VCE.
83 subject study scores above 40
The students’ achievements were also reflected in their study scores. 83 students achieved a study score above 40 in at least one of their subjects.

Dux of 2021 received an ATAR score of 99.75
In the 2021 VCE, the school dux Omer Sivri achieved an ATAR of 99.75 and placed himself among the top high achievers of the state.
8 Sirius students achieved an ATAR above 95; 26 students got an ATAR above 90 and found their way to the top in the state.
According to the VCE results, every 1 in 3 Sirius College students received an ATAR above 80.
The students' achievements are also reflected in their study scores. 44 students achieved a study score above 40 in at least one of their subjects.
Perfect Study Scores in Further Mathematics
Sirius has a history of students achieving perfect study scores in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Business Management, English, Further Maths, Mathematical Methods, Computing and Turkish, and 2021 is no exception. This year, a perfect study score was received by Rayyanuddin Muneer in Further Mathematics.
2019 was another successful year with 1 student recorded an ATAR above 99, 6 students above 98, 16 students above 95, 33 students above 90 and 60 students above 80.
Perfect Study Scores in 3 Subjects
Ali Shaban achieved perfect study score in Computing and Further Mathematics; and Amir Saleh in Biology.
They achieved first place in the state in Computing, Further Mathematics, and Biology subjects.
Dux of 2019 received ATAR score of 99.30
Sirius College students demonstrated a pattern of achieving 99+ scores for many years. Keysborough Campus student Zahra Almosawy sustained the Sirius College’s 99+ achievement with an ATAR of 99.30 in 2019. Students, Afra Abdullah and Vania Nadir followed this result with attaining ATARs of 98.50.
Great achievement in three years only
A significant achievement came from Vania Nadir who received 98.50 ATAR.
Vania arrived in Australia from Oman with her mother and brother in the middle of 2016. Although she has been exposed to Australian curriculum only for the last 3 years she was able to attain a very high ATAR score.
Every 1 in 5 students 90+, every 1 in 3 students 80+
In 2019, every 1 in 3 students in Sirius College achieved an ATAR score 80 and above, and every 1 in 5 students received 90 and above.
Sirius College’s strive for continuous improvement reflected in its 2019 ATARs too. Compared to its 2018 data, every campus’s ATAR average improved with a 4.4% increase in Keysborough, 3.4% in Meadow Fair and 2.4% in Eastmeadows.
2018's ATARs continued the tradition of Sirius College’s VCE success with 12 students above 95, 20 students above 90 and 59 students above 80.
Brightest star of 2018 with the ATAR score of 99.50
For many years, Sirius College students have demonstrated a pattern of achieving 99+ scores. Amenah Alharafi is the dux of Sirius College with an ATAR of 99.50 in 2018.
Students, Kerem Albayrak and Mahmoud Kashoa sustained this trend with attaining ATARs of 99.25 and 99.05.
3 students achieved perfect scores
Sirius has a history of students achieving perfect study scores in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Business Management, English, Further Maths, Mathematical Methods, Computing, Turkish and 2018 is no exception.
Perfect study scores were achieved by Amenah Alharafi and Mahmoud Kashoa in English and Eusuf Bin Shah Idil in Mathematical Methods. Amenah, Mahmoud and Eusuf made their parents and the school community very proud with their achievements.
1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the state from Sirius
Sirius College students Selin Dursun, Muhammed Kiyar and Salih Lelik achieved a great success in Turkish and became 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place in the state respectively.
Students’ ATARs are also brought pride to school with 2 students above 99, 7 students above 98, 14 students above 95, 30 students above 90 and 64 students above 80.
Rami Dennaoui and Harun Ergi from Meadow Fair Campus became the most successful students of Sirius College in 2017 with the ATAR of 99.70 and 99.65. They sustained the Sirius College’s 99+ achievements with their achievements.
Continuous improvement 2017 ATARs
Every 1 in 3 students in Sirius College achieved an ATAR score 80 and above; and every 1 in 5 students received 90 and above.
Compared to its 2016 data, every Campus’s ATAR average improved significantly with a 7.8% increase in Meadow Fair, 7.6% in Eastmeadows and 5.3% in Keysborough.”
2016 was another successful year with 20 students recorded an ATAR above 90; and 35 students received an ATAR above 80.
Ertugrul Erciyas topped in 2016 with an ATAR of 99.50.
Rami Dennaoui and Harun Ergi received perfect study score of 50, for further mathematics and computing informatics respectively. The results put Harun and Rami among the top students in the state for each subject.
In 2015, students ATAR scores were brought pride to school with 10 students above 95, 17 students above 90, and 46 students above 80.
Students Emre Alpay and Abdulsamed Onder from Meadow Fair Campus became the most successful students of Sirius College in 2015 with the ATAR score of 99.35 and 99.10. They sustained the Sirius College’s 99+ achievements with their achievements.
Ertugrul Erciyas and Tahir Kip achieved 50 perfect study score for Further Maths and shared first place in the state. With their achievements, Erciyas and Kip made their parents and our school community proud.
2014 saw 170 year 12 graduates – highest number of graduates so far.
Elif Gungor topped in 2014 with an ATAR of 99.45. Over 86% of graduates received offers from various universities.
In 2013, more than 95% of our 136 graduates offered a place in various universities.
Saba Gul received and ATAR of 99.90 along with Ridvan Atlihan 99.85. in 2013, 4% of our graduates received an ATAR of 99.00 or above. Both students were All Rounders. 2013 also saw Sirius graduates receiving perfect scores in 4 VCE subjects; Chemistry, Maths Method, Further Maths and Turkish.
2012 was another successful year with 91% of our graduates receiving offers in various state and national universities, 36% of which from RMIT university.
Omer Atmaca of Meadow Fair Campus received an ATAR of 99.70 and 29% of 163 graduates received an ATAR of 80.00 and above in 2012.
In 2012 4 students obtained top score in Further Maths.
2011 was the year Sirius College saw 137 students graduating from year 12 in 3 campuses. This is the highest number of graduates since first graduates in 2002.
Masad Alfayadh of Eastmeadows Campus received an ATAR of 99.80, and Mai Nguyen form the same campus received an ATAR of 99.20. Masad has received a brand new car from the school for her outstanding efforts.
Anil ZIrek of Meadow Fair Campus (formerly known as Upfield) obtained an ATAR of 99.35 in 2010. 36% of 97 graduates received ATAR of 80.00 and above, 19% received ATAR of 90.00 and above in 3 campuses.
In 2009, 103 students successfully graduated from year 12 in 3 campuses. 17% of them received an ATAR of 90.00 or above, 31% an ATAR of 80.00 and above.
Two students, Pinar Esgi and Serenay Kalkan from Eastmeadows Campus received ATARs of 99.45 and 99.15 respectively.
2008 graduates of Sirius College were amongst the list of best VCE schools, again. This time all three Sirius College campuses have done well. ‘On Track Data Survey’, which gets released in June each year by the Victorian Government, ranked Meadow Fair Boys Campus as the second best school in Victoria; Keysborough Campus ranked as the third best; and Eastmeadows Girls Campus ranked as the fourth best. Congratulations to Meadow Fair, Keysborough and Eastmeadows Campus students and staff. Special congratulations to Keysborough campus as this year was their first VCE graduates.
Meadow Fair campus shared the second spot with another school, as both schools had 89% graduates enrolled to universities. Keysborough campus shared the third spot with three other schools, having 88% graduates enrolled to universities. Eastmeadows campus had 86% of its graduates enrolled to universities. Special congratulations to Dandenong campus as this year was its first VCE graduates.
2007 graduates of Sirius College Eastmeadows Girls Campus ranked as the best school in Victoria, again, for the second contiguous year, according to ‘On Track Data Survey’ which gets released in June each year by the Victorian Government. Congratulations to Eastmeadows Girls Campus students and staff as 98% of graduates enrolled to universities.
Sirius College Meadow Fair Boys Campus ranked fifteenth in Victoria with 81% university enrolments. Congratulations to Meadow Fair Boys Campus students and staff as this was also a pleasing achievement amongst 436 VCE registered schools in Victoria. The results would have been higher if a few students decided not to defer their studies in 2008, despite having offers from universities.
The Victorian Government’s 2006 ‘On Track Survey Data’ ranked Sirius College Eastmeadows Girls Campus as the best school in Victoria, with 100% university enrolments; Sirius College Meadow Fair Boys Campus ranked as the third best, with 95% university enrolments.
2005 was the first year in which Sirius College secondary school students (including VCE) separated into two different campuses; known as Eastmeadows Secondary Girls and Meadow Fair Secondary Boys campuses. Although this almost doubled the work load of teachers and administration, Sirius college graduates still managed to obtain good results… 50% of the graduates gained an enter score of 70+, 33% gained 80+ and 10% gained 90+. Sirius College continued its reputation of being the top performing school in the Northern suburbs.
The Victorian Government’s 2004 ‘On Track Survey Data’ ranked Sirius College as the second best school in Victoria, with 94% university enrolments.
27% of the graduates received more than 95 enter score; 39% received more than 90 enter score; 62% received more than 80 enter score and 89% received more than 70 enter score. With these results Sirius College continued its reputation of being the top performing school in the Northern suburbs.
In 2003, 15% of the students gained university enter result of 90 and above. But this time 95% and over increased to 8% (4% more than the previous year). 35% obtained 80 or more. 62% obtained 70 or more. In total 92% of the students managed to enrol in higher education; 74% universities, 18% TAFE courses. Again these results gained the college the reputation of being the top performing school in the Northern suburbs.
Sirius College had its first graduates in 2002. 19% of the students gained university enter result of 90 and above, placing them in the top 10% of the state. 33% obtained 80 or more. In total 92% of the students managed to enrol in higher education; 69% universities, 23% TAFE courses. These results gained the college the reputation of being the top performing school in the Northern suburbs, amongst 50 school government and private schools.
